But “those who are vaccinated are protected and less contagious permanently for the duration of the vaccine’s effectiveness (at least months). Those who have a negative swab in the morning can become contagious in the afternoon. So let’s not compare the swab to the vaccine.” This was reiterated by the virologist Roberto Burioni, professor at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, who in a tweet exhorts: “Who can, must be vaccinated”.
