Windows 11: Microsoft helps you find out if your PC is compatible – Frandroid

After some setbacks in June, Microsoft released its PC Health Check application to check whether or not a PC is compatible with Windows 11 and why.

Since the presentation of the new system in June, there is a recurring topic that is debated: the characteristics required to install Windows 11 with a version officially supported by Microsoft.

When the system was first introduced in June, Microsoft had launched a small tool called PC Health Check to easily check whether or not a PC was compatible with Windows 11. Problem: This tool was not clear and could even be wrong. The firm had therefore immediately withdrawn its tool from its site, in a new moment of great amateurism.

A few days before the release of the system, the tool is back.

New version revised and corrected

Translated as “PC Integrity Check”, this application allows you to check the status of Windows Update or the storage capacity of the PC at a glance. Pc. The most interesting today is especially the verification of compatibility with Windows 11.

The tool is still far from perfect, especially when it comes to supporting high pixel density screens and managing certain elements of its interface. But it will now present detailed results making it possible to clearly understand why a machine is compatible or not with the new system. It will in particular indicate if this comes a problem with the famous TPM 2.0 that you may have to activate by hand.
