In a remote part of the Croatian island of Krk, they found an injured woman who does not remember her name and does not know how she got there. Not only did the local media write about it, but a curious case also caught the attention of the American television station CNN. However, it seems that the surprises are not over – according to the Czech TV Nova, the unknown person is originally from Slovakia!

The woman, estimated to be around 60 years old, received medical help when she was found on Krk in the northern part of Croatia on September 12, a local police report told CNN. The police also circulated a photo of the woman, who is of medium height and measures about 165 centimeters, has blond hair over her shoulders and blue eyes.

“She speaks English but doesn’t remember her identity. She is currently in hospital and in a stable condition,” police added.

According to TV Nova, which refers to the words of a Czech tourist who allegedly met an unknown woman on September 9, it is supposed to be about Slovakia. She was reportedly alone on holiday in Croatia. She turned off her phone and discarded her SIM card to avoid a 14-day quarantine after returning to Slovakia.

According to a Czech tourist, they met the Slovak in Drvenik. “She told us about traveling and retiring,” informed the server tn.nova.cz.

The Nova spectator revealed that the Slovak woman was allegedly afraid of vaccinations and did not want to undergo the mandatory quarantine after returning from Croatia, so she turned off her phone and got rid of her SIM card. She allegedly traveled abroad from Slovakia by train and wanted to visit other places besides Krk.

“She was intelligent, she lived in Britain for a while, so she knew English well,” the tourist explained. That would explain why she was able to communicate with the police in English. According to photos from the police on her head, she allegedly did not have the wound before. So it is possible that during the wanderings she fell by nature, hit her head and lost her memory.
