Emmanuel Macron’s health pass leaked on social networks, the Elysee deplores “an ethical fault” of certain health professionals – LCI

Like Jean Castex’s health pass, that of Emmanuel Macron was broadcast and then shared by thousands of Internet users on social networks in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 21. The Élysée reacted to LCI, confirming that it is “a breach of ethics” from health professionals who have consulted the President of the Republic’s vaccination record,“through embezzlement or negligence”.

The president’s QR code as well as his date of birth are notably visible there. The government also told Franceinfo that “arrangements have been made” to solve the problem.

As the Élysée indicated to LCI, the president’s data are indeed easily accessible, because a centralized information system open to many health professionals has been set up. “for an efficiency gain”.

At this stage, the National Council of the Order of Physicians, the competent body in matters of ethics, was seized. The Élysée did not give information on possible legal proceedings.

At the beginning of September already, around thirty doctors, nurses and pharmacists had consulted the vaccination status of the Head of State (noting in passing an inconsistency in the date), before being called to order.
