Following torrential rains, severe thunderstorms and flooding in the Gard, many homes were simply without electricity. On Twitter, Enedis thus indicated that at 5.30 pm, there were still “1,000 customers without electricity, mainly in Nîmes, Vergèze, Milhaud”.
