The tests revealed another 946 cases of coronavirus, mostly in the Žilina Region. In hospitals, most are unvaccinated Žilinak.sk – Žilinak.sk

The epidemic situation in Slovakia is gradually deteriorating, in the past day (Tuesday, September 14) there were 760 people tested positive in the form of RT-PCR tests and 186 people tested positive by antigen tests.

The percentage of positive PCR tests in fully vaccinated individuals is 23.78% and the percentage of positive Ag tests in fully vaccinated individuals is 22.61%. Currently, a total of 254 patients are hospitalized, of which up to 87.56% unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated.

Among those tested positive are also vaccinated persons, but thanks to the vaccine given, they should avoid the difficult course and hospitalization in the hospital.

Most positively tested RT-PCR assays were in Žilina Region (155), followed by Košický (142), Prešovský (133), Banskobystrický (95), Bratislavský (78), Trenčiansky (67) and Nitriansky (52) and Trnavský (38).

In the last week, the number of positively tested for delta variants is 86 samples out of the total number of 87 sequenced samples. This represents 98.9% representation.

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,412,018, with 2,646 vaccinated the previous day. 2,215,708 people have already received the second dose of the vaccine, and 2,477 people have been vaccinated the past day.
