Britney Spears deletes her Instagram profile

American pop star Britney Spears decided to take a break from social media to “celebrate her engagement” and deleted her Instagram profile, but reassured her fans on Twitter where she wrote: “Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon”. The 39-year-old singer announced last week that she was marrying her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari. This was reported by the BBC website, explaining that the star has used Instagram to tell about his private life and above all his battle against the protection of his father Jamie, imposed in 2008 when concerns about the singer’s mental health were expressed. The father just last week filed papers in a Los Angeles court to end guardianship. The hearing is set for 29 September.
