Tribute concert to Johnny Hallyday: too moved, Patrick Bruel makes a mistake in the words and creates a slight discomfort – Closer France

The emotion was at the rendezvous this Tuesday, September 14. On France 2, viewers were able to discover the tribute concert, given in memory of Johnny Hallyday. Thus, many artists had met at the AccorHotels Arena to sing the most beautiful songs of Taulier. But there is one for whom, the evening did not go as planned. Indeed, Patrick Bruel, visibly overwhelmed by emotion, was wrong in the words. While he opened the concert with Patrick Fiori and Florent Pagny, the title Live for the best has undergone some corrections on his part.

It did not take more for Internet users to notice the error. If some were understanding, others did not hesitate to criticize him: “Patrick Bruel will not win at the karaoke tonight”, “Mr. Bruel you are moving, you have trouble singing because of the emotion”, can we read in particular on Twitter. But be reassured, he was not the only one to have been the target of viewers. Indeed, Kendji Girac did not convince on the title desire or even Slimane whose performance was heavily judged as below the others. Despite everything, the tribute concert went off without a hitch and the audience was even able to perform, on their own, Light the fire, under the guitar notes of Yarol Poupaud.

A Johnny Hallyday esplanade

A moment rich in emotion, which was the conclusion of a day devoted to the singer. Indeed, earlier this Tuesday, an esplanade, renamed, Johnny Hallyday, was inaugurated by Anne Hidalgo. In the company of Laeticia Hallyday and her daughters, fans of the Taulier were able to discover Johnny’s enormous motorcycle, posed as a tribute. Despite everything, two important people were missing: David Hallyday and Laura Smet did not respond present during this tribute day. The two eldest singer of the singer refused the invitation of their former mother-in-law.
