Somali suspect of killing two women detained in Vienna – SME.sk

VIENNA. Austria Police detained a Somali man in Vienna on Monday, who said he had killed two women in one of the apartments, the APA news agency reported.

Police said she was called to the scene. She found a 28-year-old Somali there who said he had killed two women.

Authorities found both victims – women aged 35 and 37 – around 4 pm. The alleged 28-year-old perpetrator was detained.

According to the investigators, signs of alcohol consumption were observable on the suspect. The perpetrator was upset and it was not immediately possible to interrogate him.

Neighbors said one of the women was a former partner of the suspect, writes APA. There have been two prosecutions against the man in the past. One of them concerned sexual offenses.

In both cases, asylum proceedings were initiated against him, but were later suspended.
