Covid today Emilia, 470 infections and 1 death: bulletin 13 September

There are 470 new coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna according to today’s bulletin, 13 September. Also recorded another death. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 418,257 positive cases have been registered in the Region. 15,398 the total number of swabs performed in the last 24 hours. Of the newly infected, 209 are asymptomatic identified in the context of regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, among the new positives 164 were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution, 213 were identified within already known foci. The average age of new positives today is 38.1 years. The number of victims, on the other hand, rises to 13,409. These are the data, ascertained at 12 today, relating to the trend of the epidemic in the region. Of the 209 asymptomatic, 104 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 8 with serological screening, 29 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 6 through pre-hospitalization tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 62 cases. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 149 new cases, followed by Modena (83); then Parma (60), Rimini (48) and Ravenna (40); then Reggio Emilia (24), Cesena (19), Ferrara (17) and Forlì (13); finally Piacenza (9) and the Imola district (8). In the last 24 hours, 5,725 molecular swabs were carried out, for a total of 5,649,162. To these are also added 9,673 rapid antigenic swabs. As for the total number of people healed, they are 546 more than yesterday and reach 389,900. Active cases are decreasing, that is the actual patients, which today are 14,948 (-77 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 14,483 (-100), 96.9% of the total number of active cases. On the other hand, the number of victims with a new death, a 68-year-old woman, in the province of Parma, rises to 13,409. The number of patients admitted to intensive care has remained unchanged compared to yesterday (45); 420 those in the other Covid departments (+23).
