Agents of the National Police last night arrested a total of 18 minors in the Sevillian neighborhood of Los Remedios, for committing numerous robberies in which, in order to seize the personal effects of their victims, they attacked and intimidated them using bladed weapons and blunt objects. Of the 18 minors detained, seven have been released after being heard in exploration and eleven of them will pass throughout the day this Tuesday at the disposal of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office that will be in charge of the investigation of the file There are more than a dozen victims confirmed so far for these events, of which seven have injuries from the attacks suffered. Based on the statements of the witnesses and the characteristics of the perpetrators provided by the victims, the agents proceeded to quickly locate and identify a first group of minors, made up of five youths who were immediately arrested around 11:30 p.m. on Calle Virgen de la Antigua. Subsequently, and almost simultaneously, another 13 minors were arrested on nearby Avenida Flota de Indias, both located in the neighborhood of Los Remedios. The agents have learned that many of the detainees had come to Seville from neighboring towns and 11 of them passed through during the Today at the disposal of the Prosecutor for Minors.
