An award that culminates three days of tests in Paris, where he has beaten 17 opponents from different countries to win the eighth edition. In this way, the 26-year-old Spanish representative has been proclaimed the winner. The jury has examined the pastry chefs with the elaboration of all kinds of sculptures, where only ten have managed to pass to the last round. Among them, Crusellas, owner of the El Carme pastry shop, in the Catalan city of Vic. One of his masterpieces has been the elaboration of a three-meter-high elephant with 200 kilos of chocolate, which has allowed him to access the test final to get closer to the world title. A challenge that has had the support of Santa Eulàlia de Riuprimer, the town of Crusellas, which has followed the final live at the Casa de la Cultura, in the municipality of the Osona region, as a sign of support of your dear neighbor. “Infinite thanks. We have won, it has been a great weekend. Thanks also to those who have followed me from my town, thanks for being there”, were the first words of Crusellas upon receiving the award. In October 2021, the one from Osona won the competition for the best chocolatier in Spain. Thanks to this, he acceded to the coveted position of candidate for the world competition that he has also crowned.
