Instagram suffers a crash and mistakenly suspends many user accounts

The social network Instagram has suffered a drop in its services this Monday, as a multitude of users are reporting to the DownDetector website. It seems that this is not a failure as widespread as the one suffered by other Meta networks (owned by Mark Zuckerberg) such as Facebook and Whatsapp last week. In this case, users assure that without any explanation their account appears as suspended. Last Friday, Meta assured that it had solved the problems on its platforms, due to a “configuration change”, according to the company, which has requested Apologies to those affected by that last mistake.
