Hurricane Roslyn makes landfall near Santa Cruz, Mexico

Meteorologist says that Roslyn is rapidly approaching Mexico 3:38 (CNN Spanish) — Roslyn made landfall in west-central Mexico, near Santa Cruz, in northern Nayarit, around 7:20 am (Miami time) as a major Category 3 hurricane with sustained winds of 120 mph, according to the most recent update from the National Hurricane Center. Roslyn is forecast to weaken rapidly as it moves inland over the mountainous terrain of western Mexico today.
