Covid today Lombardy, 12,757 infections and 26 deaths: bulletin 18 October

There are 12,757 new coronavirus infections today 18 October in Lombardy, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. There are another 26 deaths. The new cases were identified against 64,194 swabs performed. The positivity rate is 19.8%. Among the main data for today, the increase in non-intensive care patients is highlighted: 1,192 registered, equal to 43 more than yesterday. On the other hand, the number of people admitted to intensive care fell by one unit: 19 were registered, one less than yesterday. Deaths are increasing, bringing the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 42,827. At the provincial level, Milan has 3,632 new cases, of which 1,345 in the city of Milan; Bergamo 1,124, Brescia 1,517, Como 966, Cremona 438, Lecco 531. 328 new cases registered in Lodi, Mantua 593, Monza and Brianza 1,148, Pavia 699, Sondrio 260 and Varese 1,279.
