The package, announced last Thursday in the Congress of Deputies by the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, arrives at the gates of a winter marked by the tension that looms in the energy markets in the face of the threat of a complete cut off of natural gas supplies from Russia to Europe. The measures come to reinforce the social bonds -electric and thermal, to which vulnerable or large families can benefit- and a new regulated rate so that households with a community boiler can benefit from savings of more than 50%.
