Engineering-Novartis agreement for digital health

Agreement between Engineering and Novartis Italia for the development of initiatives and solutions aimed at accelerating the digital transition of Italian healthcare through cutting-edge technologies in care services, patient assistance and management of healthcare facilities, an area in which both companies they boast a long experience and a virtuous path of consolidated collaborations. This was announced by a joint note from the companies, respectively leaders in the digitization of processes for companies and public administration and in medical-scientific research. For the first time in Italy – we read – two excellences in the IT (Information Technology) and pharmaceutical sectors, united by a strong vocation for investment in research and a continuous focus on innovation, start a partnership aimed at healthcare institutions and professions and patient associations, to respond in an ecosystemic way to the challenges of Mission 6 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, dedicated to the protection of health, with a particular focus on the Regions and on the health systems at the territorial level. The agreement, lasting 3 years, provides for the commitment of Engineering and Novartis in the joint work table ‘Pnrr and connected health’, which will leverage diversified skills relating to the areas that play a particularly critical and priority role within of the Pnrr and that can play a leading role in building the healthcare of the future.
