Producer Jiří Jurtin had a controversial reputation. He did not succeed in business and owed millions of crowns to various people from show business through his bankrupt company. In January 2020, the daily Blesk reported the amount of 160 million Czech crowns, according to Extra.cz, the amount has since climbed even higher. In addition, he suffered from health problems – for example, he had severe diabetes. In the end, he evidently saw no other way out than to leave this world. “Jiří Jurtin killed himself on Friday. It was in a car in Hrabalovo Kresek, where he lived for the last two years,” the source told Extra.cz. The body reportedly showed signs that he had ingested multiple drugs. According to the Czech website, he overdosed on insulin and medication, and he also had a firearm with him.
