The judge opens an oral trial against Shakira for allegedly defrauding the Treasury of 14.5 million

Shakira will sit in the dock. The judge of the Court of Instruction number 2 of Esplugues de Llobregat has agreed to open an oral trial against the Colombian singer for six crimes against the Public Treasury, for which she allegedly stopped entering the public coffers 14.5 million euros. According to the resolution, Shakira is accused of six crimes against public finances between 2012 and 2014, with “the aggravating circumstances of the amount of fraud and use of interposed legal persons.”
