Coldiretti, red alert for nurseries

With + 95% of the costs for plants and seeds, it is red alert for nurseries overwhelmed by rising energy prices. These are increases that affect the entire supply chain: from fertilizers to packaging, from the plastic of the jars to the paper of the packaging, up to the diesel for heating greenhouses. This is what emerges from Coldiretti’s analysis of Crea data on the occasion of Flormart, a fair in a sector of excellence in Made in Italy that is worth 2.5 billion euros and guarantees 200,000 jobs put at risk by the energy crisis.
