The high-speed train made the Barcelona-Madrid route and leaving the Lleida station was when the impact occurred. The convoy was towed to Zaragoza and there it was transferred to another train until it reached the Spanish capital. The impact of the animal occurred when convoy number 6810, made up of a multiple unit of two conventional high-speed trains, was circulating towards the Zaragoza-Delicias terminal, sources from OUIGO have informed EFE. The impact of the wild boar partially damaged the brake of the train, which forced it to be stopped in the first instance and, later, to be towed. During the hours of waiting, passengers posted videos on social networks dancing inside the train. “The transfer of passengers has taken place at the Zaragoza station, where the security conditions are maximum. The passengers have been attended by the cabin crew, offering them food and water,” the company has stated. The train left Barcelona-Sants at 8:38 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Madrid-Puerta de Atocha at 11:15 p.m. The convoy finally reached its destination around half past four in the morning.
