Just a few days ago, the announcement of Miss Universe SR for the year 2022 took place again, after a long break, since, like other industries, the beauty pageant was also affected by the pandemic, so they had to wait to hand over the crown. At the beauty contest, we also interviewed the director Silvia Lakatošová herself, and first of all, we were interested in how satisfied she was with the whole evening. The answer from the organizer was quite clear. “I’m super happy with tonight, because the babies went bomb. I’m really, really glad that they stayed with us for the two years and we basically “made it through” and they’re really sweet and I think that I won’t forget this year, year, for sure, and they won’t at all,” said the director of Miss Universe SR for Topky.sk. And so we couldn’t do it and we asked if there was such a moment that she wanted to completely cut it and wrap it up. “Yes, he came, those first years of that corona, when we didn’t know what would happen. I missed it. After that, we actually sent a cat to the world finals of Miss Universe in Israel a year ago, where we didn’t get there, because they didn’t allow us to do it again, we had bought tickets, a stay, but we just couldn’t get there, so I didn’t even hope anymore, well then we united strong women and combined the tradition with the modern and put it this way,” the director recalled in an interview about the difficult times when she wanted to cancel the entire competition. During the final evening, which was held in one of the famous Bystrica establishments, the girls did not show off in swimsuits, and there was also a lack of a classic fashion show of evening dresses or pointing out the talents of the girls. The director and organizer of Miss Universe SR, Silvia Lakatošová, took it, as she herself pointed out, in a modern way, and all the usual programs of the gala evening were moved to audiovisual projection, so the announcement itself lasted quite a short time. Some of the spectators present missed it, and others welcomed the shorter time spent in the seat. As they say: a hundred people, a hundred tastes and not everyone can be satisfied.
