A female driver hit four schoolgirls at a pedestrian crossing in Trnava after she disobeyed a red light at a traffic light. One 14-year-old student was taken to the hospital by paramedics. Two of her peers suffered superficial injuries. The youngest, a 13-year-old girl, was not injured. “Four friends were walking along a properly marked crossing when a silver Peugeot 206 crashed into them. The 48-year-old woman driving the car did not respect the red light at the traffic light and collided with the girls,” the police said.
