The deaths from COVID are reduced to three in the last week in Aragon – CARTV (Aragonese Radio and Television Corporation)

Last week’s Epidemiological Bulletin of Aragon shows a decline in COVID-19. Between August 22 and 28, 249 positives have been recorded, 30 fewer than seven days ago, and three deaths, six fewer than in the previous report. The Public Health Bulletin also shows the progress of monkeypox in the Community (MPX), with 69 registered positives, seven more than the previous week. The novelty is that, for the first time in Aragon, one of the positives is a woman. The rest are men, between 21 and 64 years old and, for the most part, with high-risk sexual practices. Vaccination against monkeypox in Aragon In addition, 30 people have already been vaccinated with the first dose against monkeypox in the Community. It is administered in hospitals and the entire population is not vaccinated, only risk groups. That includes pregnant women or babies, if they have been close contacts of infected people.
