Tragedy in the east of Slovakia. A nine-year-old girl lost her life, apparently drowned in the bathtub TVNOVINY.sk – TVNOVINY.sk

Residents of Valaliky village in Košice-okolie district have experienced a tragic early Sunday evening. As Korzár writes, only a nine-year-old child lost his life. The cited source specified that the girl most likely drowned in the bathtub while bathing. The police, firefighters and rescuers were called to the family home. “Four firefighters from Čane intervened on the spot. Even before our arrival, people were trying to revive the minor. She was in the bathroom,” explained the firemen. Paramedics tried to save the child with the help of a defibrillator, but, unfortunately, in vain. The attending physician on the spot preliminarily ruled out someone else’s fault, but they ordered an autopsy. The case is already being investigated by the police, who have initiated a criminal prosecution in this matter for the crime of murder.
