Marinová became prime minister in 2019 at the age of 34. Since then, she has organized parties in her official residence several times, for which she has become the target of criticism. In December 2021, she faced criticism for attending a dance party where she stayed until the early hours of the morning, despite knowing that she had previously been exposed to the contagious disease COVID-19.
