A judge seizes 50 million from the ringleader of the alleged biggest scam with “cryptocurrency” La Voz Judge José Luis Calama has ordered the seizure of assets —either in cryptocurrencies or in other currencies— to Santiago Fuentes, who is being investigated for being the possible ringleader of Arbistar, a company through which one of the largest pyramid scams with cryptocurrencies would have been perpetrated. Thus, the Justice yesterday ordered the embargo of all the assets of Fuentes to cover the 50 million euros that, as a precautionary measure, have been set as a responsibility to pay the injured parties. And in his car, the magistrate admits that Calama’s eventual responsibilities “could exceed” even that amount.
