Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar: her husband Cédric remains in prison

The investigation chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal decided to keep Cédric Jubillar in prison. The judgment was given at the beginning of the afternoon, Monday July 4th. A decision faithful to the requisitions of the Advocate General, last week, who had put forward the need to protect the clues and the ongoing investigation. Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers, Mes Martin, Franck and Alary, once again considered that their client is “innocent” and “that he must benefit from the presumption of innocence”. “Justice is stubborn and this will lead to a legal disaster. We continue the fight, no anger or resignation”, reacted Mes Franck and Alary. Cédric Jubillar, 34, has been imprisoned since June 18, 2021, accused of having killed his wife Delphine Jubillar, who mysteriously disappeared on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, in Cagnac-les-Mines (81). The body of the Tarn nurse and mother of two children has still not been found. The couple was in the process of divorce and Delphine Jubillar had to start a new life with another man. This would constitute, according to the prosecution, the motive for the murder.
