ProCare and the World of Health have sold five hospitals to AGEL: See what they are – New Time

The network of private hospitals ProCare and Svet zdraví have sold their five medical facilities in BBSK to AGEL. The transaction concerns hospitals in Žiar nad Hronom, Banská Štiavnica, Mammacentrum sv. Agates in Banská Bystrica and polyclinics in Žiar nad Hronom and Zvolen. The entire transaction is still subject to the approval of the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic. The final takeover is expected by the end of 2022. Both parties have decided not to disclose the amount of the transaction. The ProCare network and the World of Health have been operating hospitals in Žiar nad Hronom and Banská Štiavnica since 2014, Mammacentrum sv. Agates and polyclinics in Zvolen and Žiar nad Hronom since 2010. The five workplaces together employ more than 700 workers. “In deciding on this transaction, we have taken the perspective of the new employees into account very responsibly. We are convinced that this solution will help stabilize their regional position in the future. Our priority remains the operation of hospitals and clinics in the regions of western, eastern and southern Slovakia opportunities for growth and significant investment projects, “said Radoslav Čuha, General Manager of the ProCare Network and the World of Health, about the transaction. “We are working intensively on the ambition of the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic to build new hospital workplaces in Rimavská Sobota, Spišská Nová Ves, Humenné, Michalovce and Topoľčany,” he added.
