Murder Salvatore Martino, alleged murderer arrested

The Carabinieri and the Police arrested the alleged murderer of Salvatore Martino, 38, killed in Erice on December 26, 2021. The Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command and the agents of the State Police of Trapani have executed the order of precautionary custody in prison issued by the investigating judge of the Palermo Juvenile Court, at the request of the prosecutor against a young man from Trapani, a minor at the time of the facts. The victim’s lifeless body was found inside his home in the Pegno di Erice district. Check the images extracted from the video surveillance systems and telephone records and the biological traces found. Furthermore, the testimonies of some inhabitants of the area were important. According to the reconstruction of the investigators, that evening the two would have gone together to the prefabricated building where the murder then took place to consume drugs. The young man arrested was taken to the Malaspina Juvenile in Palermo.
