Andrea Čunderlíková, who is half Slovak after her father, was born on May 6, 1952 in Prague. He got into acting by accident. When the film crew visited the primary school where the young girl was studying, they approached her to play in the romantic drama The High Wall (1964) directed by Karel Kachyňa. The main role of a teenage and sensitive Natasha was played in the film Five Girls on the Neck (1967), in which she was cast by Evald Schorm, and she portrayed a young girl living her first love in the film Little Summer Blues (1967). In addition to other acting offers, the film also brought a deep friendship with director Martin Holly and his family. Another Slovak filmmaker, Štefan Uher, cast her in a war film from the period of the Slovak National Uprising called Dolina (1973). Karel Kachyňa also collaborated with the actress in the fairy tale Little Mermaid (1976), based on the work of the same name by the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.
