Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee) does not plan to resign. He stated this at a press briefing on Thursday. Lengvarsky is also criticized by the opposition as Minister of Finance and OĽANO leader Igor Matovič, according to whom he is ready for exchange due to huge failures. “I think this question belongs to him as the chairman of the movement, as well as to Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OĽANO) as my direct superior,” Lengvarský said. He added that he had spoken to the prime minister and had not yet indicated anything about his departure. Peter Pellegrini, former Prime Minister and non-attached Member of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic, also called for the resignation of the Minister of Health on Thursday. He claims that the Minister of Finance hates him and as long as he is in office, the health service will be the target of Matovič’s revenge and the Ministry will not receive the finance. Lengvarsky said at the briefing that he would not respond to these statements.
