Details on relationship between escaped prisoner and officer released 2:57 (CNN) — As authorities continue to search for the Alabama corrections officer and the inmate she disappeared with, the US Marshals Service said the officer, Vicky White, could have dyed her blonde hair a darker shade and offered renderings of what she might look like after the change. The agency also released photos of the inmate, 38-year-old Casey White, and identification markers such as various tattoos. He should be considered “armed and extremely dangerous,” the agency said in a news release Thursday. In a press release, the US Marshals Service said that Vicky White could have dyed her hair darker and given these performances. Investigators have been following leads that include reported sightings from Florida to Kentucky, Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton told CNN. But “right now,” he said, “we have no idea where they are.” Over the past week, authorities discovered that the 56-year-old officer and the inmate, who was being held on murder charges, may have had a romantic relationship, the sheriff said. She had also made some big financial moves before the run, like selling her house on April 18 for well below market value. The home sold for $95,550, documents show, but Lauderdale County records show the home’s total parcel value is $204,700. “Clearly, there was a lot of planning going into this,” Lauderdale County District Attorney Chris Connolly told CNN’s “New Day” on Thursday. Family members and co-workers say they are stunned by the sudden disappearance of the prison officer, whom Singleton has described as a “model employee” with an “unblemished record.” Vicky White has an active warrant for her arrest on charges of allowing or facilitating flight in the first degree.
