Covid today Puglia, 139 infections and 5 deaths: 21 July bulletin

There are 139 new coronavirus infections in Puglia according to today’s bulletin, 21 July. Also recorded 5 other deaths. 7,301 tests for infection carried out, broken down as follows: 35 in the province of Bari, 14 in the province of Brindisi, 14 in the province of Bat, 8 in the province of Foggia, 36 in the province of Lecce, 31 in the province of Taranto, 2 outside the region. A case previously attributed to an unknown province has been classified today, so today’s total remains 139 positive cases. Yesterday the new infections were 80 out of 7,764 swabs. The five deaths occurred 1 in Bari and 4 in Taranto. In all, 6,664 people lost their lives. Since the beginning of the emergency, 2,796,793 tests have been carried out. 245,974 patients recovered while yesterday they were 245,889 (+85). The currently positive cases are 1,824 while yesterday they were 1,775 (+49). The hospitalized are 82 while yesterday they were 85 (-3). The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia since the beginning of the emergency is 254,462, divided as follows: 95,448 in the province of Bari; 25,653 in the province of Bat; 19,930 in the province of Brindisi; 45,288 in the province of Foggia; 27,289 in the province of Lecce; 39,647 in the province of Taranto; 835 attributed to residents outside the region; 372 province of residence not known.
