Chills on Malpensa-New York flight, hail damages plane

Thrills aboard Emirates Flight EK 205 from Malpensa to New York Jfk Airport. The Boeing 777 was damaged by hail shortly after takeoff. Photos posted on the airport’s Twitter profile show damage to the windshield, nose and other parts of the aircraft. The flight, after about 90 minutes from take-off, came back with “serious damage”. “A praise to the crew who brought the plane back to the ground without further consequences after the hailstorm,” reads a tweet.
