Pos fines, when they will be triggered and how penalties will work

The fine for those who refuse payment via Pos, the electronic device that allows the use of cards, has been brought forward to June 30, therefore by six months. The obligation for exhibitors and professionals has actually existed since 2014, but not the fine, which would no longer become a reality from 1 January 2023, as expected, but from 30 June. The law, modified last year by the Draghi government, provides for a fine of 30 euros plus 4% of the value of the transaction and does not only concern traders but all those who offer products and services to the public, including professionals, such as doctors, or taxi drivers.
