China Eastern groundes its Boeing 737-800 planes

Black box from crashed plane found in China 0:49 (CNN) — China Eastern Airlines and its affiliates have temporarily grounded 223 of its Boeing 737-800 planes after one of the planes crashed earlier this week, causing the deaths of all 132 people on board, airline spokesman Liu Xiaodong said at a news conference on Thursday. The grounded planes are undergoing safety and maintenance inspections to ensure they are safe to fly, Liu said. The airline launched an extensive safety review after the accident, he added. China Eastern flight MU5735 crashed near the southern city of Wuzhou on Monday. No survivors were found among the 132 people on board.
