Tpl: Gazzetta Amm, Marche, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna the least ‘efficient’ Regions in terms of expenditure

Marche, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna are the least ‘efficient’ regions in terms of public transport spending. This was decreed by the special classification prepared for Adnkronos by the Administrative Gazette of the Italian Republic, as part of the ‘Pitagora’ project, which examines the costs incurred in 2020 by Regions and provincial capitals (on the website www.adnkronos.com all tables and figures in the report). The Marche is assigned the worst overall rating (C), the result of the expenditure incurred not so much for public transport service contracts, equal to 97,088,838.54 euros and which is worth a relative rating of AA, as for the rental of vehicles of transport, which jumps to 322,866.64 euros deserving the C. For the latter item, making a comparison with previous years, the Marche had spent 233,373.70 euros in 2019, 206,273.12 in 2018 and 224,985.98 in 2017 . A voice, that of the rental, which also sees Emilia-Romagna stand out with 904,302.67 euros spent in 2020, which make it attribute a full C (the costs for service contracts are not comparable). Figure increased compared to the previous year when it was equal to 887,015.40, slightly lower than in 2018 (953,706.19) but more than doubled if compared to 2017 when it stopped at 446,008.93 euros. Coming to Tuscany, with the huge sum of € 600,394,209.87, it obtained a C for the item service contracts; a figure that has steadily increased in recent years, going from € 293,970,439.05 in 2017 to € 521,075,456.73 in 2018 and 572,089,496.51 in 2019. It is a little better on the rental, for which it spent 143,291.81 euro worth a relative AA, which raises the overall rating to BB.
