Tpl: Gazzetta Amm, Udine, Pavia, Turin and Bergamo most ‘virtuous’ cities for spending with AAA

Udine, Pavia, Turin and Bergamo are the most ‘virtuous’ Italian cities in spending on local public transport. They are in fact the first four provincial capitals in the special ranking prepared for Adnkronos by the Administrative Gazette Foundation of the Italian Republic, as part of the ‘Pitagora’ project, which examines the costs incurred in 2020 by Regions and provincial capitals (on the website www.adnkronos.com all the tables and figures of the report). They receive the triple AAA, the highest rating assigned by the survey and which they maintain for both expenditure items, that for public transport service contracts and that for school transport service contracts. Specifically, in 2020, Udine spent € 1,748.99 for public transport service contracts and € 550.58 for school transport service contracts; Pavia, respectively, € 30,174.87 and € 15,825.00; Turin 2,741,488.23 and 464,101.88 euros; Bergamo 56,749.94 and 67,232.65 euros. An intermediate position in the rating for local public transport costs, in order, is occupied by: Foggia, Vicenza, Aosta, Livorno, Padua, Biella, Pistoia, Syracuse, Catania, Bologna, Monza, Arezzo, La Spezia, Barletta, Cremona, Palermo, Modena, Chieti, Verbania, Piacenza, Florence, Grosseto, Massa, Rimini, Catanzaro, Forlì, Bari, Taranto, Avellino, Pordenone, Pescara, Rome, Macerata, Verona , Oristano, Teramo, Pesaro, Andria, Agrigento, Cesena, Frosinone, Perugia, Brindisi, Cuneo, Alessandria, Ragusa, Terni, Milan, Venice. And, further down in the ranking, we find: Lecce, Rovigo, Matera, Benevento, Trapani, Viterbo, Ascoli Piceno, Siena, Treviso, Potenza, Belluno. Lagging behind are Parma, Trani, Naples, Enna, Urbino. In the summary of the two items, the worst overall rating C deserve: Belluno, Enna, Potenza, Siena, Treviso and Urbino. While for all the remaining capitals the expenditure is not comparable, at least for one of the two items.
