Naples, Parma and Trani are the provincial capitals less ‘efficient’ in spending school transport service contracts. In fact, they are the only ones to have obtained the C, the highest rating in the special ranking prepared for Adnkronos by the Administrative Gazette Foundation of the Italian Republic, as part of the ‘Pitagora’ project, which examines the costs incurred in 2020 by Regions and provincial capitals (on the website www.adnkronos.com all the tables and figures of the report). Specifically, for this item relating to local public transport, Naples spent 11,364,910.14 euros in 2020, Parma 1,990,135, 73 euros and Trani 661,345.14 euros. On the other hand, if we consider the expenditure in absolute values ​​for school transport service contracts, the highest is recorded in Naples (11,364,910.14 euros), followed at a distance by Rome (4,825,670.34), Parma (1,990,135.73), Verona (1,651,340.90), Venice (1,373,689.39), Perugia (1,190,312.54), Terni (1,115,086.83), Ravenna (1,044,111 , 84). On the contrary, again in absolute values, those who spend less are Udine (€ 550.58), Chieti (1,500.00), Carbonia (2,061.48), Nuoro (2,986.90), Avellino (4,117.98) and Vibo Valentia (5,869.70).
