Tpl: Gazzetta Amm, among the regional capitals of Milan, has the highest expenditure on service contracts

Milan is the regional capital that, in absolute value, spends the most on public transport service contracts (829.311.533,16 euros in 2020), while Naples holds the record for school transport contracts (11.364.910, 14). This is highlighted by the special ranking prepared for Adnkronos by the Administrative Gazette Foundation of the Italian Republic, as part of the ‘Pitagora’ project, which examines the costs incurred in 2020 by Regions and provincial capitals (on the website www.adnkronos.com all the tables and figures in the report). Turin and Aosta are the only regional capitals to be awarded the triple AAA as an overall rating for public transport spending. And Turin doubles, obtaining it both for public transport service contracts and for school transport. If we consider the rating relating to the two items, triple AAA for public transport contracts in Aosta, Bologna, Genoa and, for school transport contracts, in Milan, Palermo, Turin and Trieste. Potenza is the only regional capital to receive a C as an overall rating for transport spending, but if we consider the two individual items that have a C, they are also Ancona for public transport contracts and Naples for those relating to school transport. Looking at the ranking of expenditure in absolute values, as regards public transport service contracts, Rome comes immediately after Milan with 721.950.199.13 euros, followed by Venice (81.564.411,09), Palermo (74.110.750 , 68), Naples (53,610,348.00), Florence (46,422,373.14), Bari (35,211,282.08), Perugia (15,075,735.88), Ancona (11,554,607.48), Potenza (6,837,741.43), Campobasso (4,005,237.05), Turin (2,741,488.23), Genoa (1,130,000.00). To spend less for this item are, continuing the ranking: Bologna (806,643.00), Catanzaro (152,500.00), L’Aquila (391,912.91), Aosta (11,856.77). In this case, the data from Cagliari, Trento and Trieste are not comparable. Moving on, however, to the ranking of expenditure, again in absolute values, for school transport contracts, after Naples, Rome spends the most with 4,825,670.34 in 2020. Followed by: Venice (1,373,689.39), Perugia (1,190,312.54), Bari (881,433.17), Bologna (654,783.29), Milan (638,549.08), Cagliari (568,643.18), Turin (464,101.88), Florence (407,232.10) , Catanzaro (359,326.79), Palermo (243,968.60), Potenza (126,354.51). To spend less, continuing in the ranking, are Aosta (36,404.71) and Trieste (35,093.20), while the data of Ancona, Campobasso, Genoa and L’Aquila are not comparable for this item.
