The garage house in Ružinov burned down, part of the building collapsed. A hundred firefighters – REFRESHER – intervened on the spot

We gave you last night informed about a fire in Ružinov, Bratislava, on Drieňová Street, where the garage next to the Shell pump started burning in the evening. According to the latest information brought on Facebook by the mayor of the city district, Martin Chren, the building could not be saved and burned down, while part of the building collapsed.

“Official information, thank God, says no injuries or victims,” Chren added. A hundred firefighters intervened in the parking house fire, and they approached from the communication department of the Presidium of the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ).

Firefighters added that the fire engulfed the entire building, part of the roof and the central facade collapsed. All Bratislava fire stations, firefighters from Pezinok, the HaZZ Rescue Brigade in Malacky and members of ten voluntary fire brigades from the area intervened. “The fire broke out before half past seven in the evening and hit three floors (4th – 6th floor). A management staff has been set up on site, “ firefighters approached the situation.
