Bratislava firefighters are on their feet: Part of the capital was engulfed in a devastating fire! – New time

A garage house on Drieňová is burning in Ružinov, Bratislava, specifically the Bratislava Garage Cooperative, which is located next to the Shell pump. Several neighbors asked the mayor of the city district about the smell, informing them that firefighters from all over Bratislava were already preparing the platform and the fire had to start extinguishing from above.

“Given the scale of the fire, as well as the smoky surroundings, citizens and motorists, we are urging them to avoid the place.” said Michal Szeiff, a spokesman for the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Bratislava. The fire was to break out at 7:30 p.m. According to the police, injuries have not yet occurred in connection with the fire.

“The fire broke out before half past seven in the evening and hit three floors (4th – 6th floor). A command staff has been set up on the site.” said firefighters. The fire is extinguished only from the outside. There is no one inside the parking house, all the intervening firefighters left him on time and without injuries.

The mayor later informed that part of the burning parking house had finally collapsed. Firefighters have not yet located the fire and expect the fire to last all night. Firefighters added that the fire engulfed the entire building, part of the roof and the central facade collapsed. All Bratislava fire stations, firefighters from Pezinok, the HaZZ Rescue Brigade in Malacky and members of ten voluntary fire brigades from the area are involved.
