Usa, powerful tornado in Iowa: 6 deaths including two children

Six people, including two children, are the victims of a powerful tornado that struck central Iowa. Abc News reported, explaining that the Madison County Emergency Management Agency, in addition to six deaths, also reported at least four injuries, one of them in danger of life, while the other three are in serious condition. Both of the children killed were under the age of 5, officials said. The tornado swept through the Winterset, Iowa area just southwest of Des Moines at around 4:30 pm local time yesterday. Diogenes Ayala, director of the Madison County Emergency Management Agency, said at a news conference that the victims were found scattered in multiple places and believes there are no missing persons. Ayala also added that the fury of the tornado destroyed about 30 homes in an area just north of Winterset. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by today’s terrible storm that ripped through the our state, ”Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds tweeted.
