The positivity of PCR assays reached over 56 percent. 2233 people had a positive result of the antigen test, the positivity reached more than 11 percent.

The total number of completed laboratory RT-PCR tests is 6,156,090, of which 1,324,503 were positive cases. The total number of antigen tests performed is 42,882,562, of which 639,908 people tested positive.

2524 people with COVID-19 are hospitalized in hospitals. There are 244 people at the JIS, 95 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation. More than 71 percent of hospitalized patients are not fully vaccinated.

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Košice region, the least in the Banská Bystrica region.

The first dose of the vaccine was given to 291 people, the second to 2523 people.
