Forty firefighters including whitewater rescuers have been engaged since 7:30 a.m. this Friday in Aramon. A truck and its cargo fell from a bridge into the Rhône. It is half submerged and its driver could not be found this morning. A police helicopter is taking part in the search.
A heavy goods vehicle and its cargo are fell in the Rhône, this Friday morning in Aramon (Gard). The truck, which came from Bouches-du-Rhône and was traveling towards Gard, fell from a bridge between Aramon and Barbentane, after demolishing a parapet.

Several specialized teams made up of boats and divers carry out searches at the level of the truck’s cabin. The strong current of the river significantly complicates the search.
