There are 5,964 new infections from Coronavirus today, February 16, 2022 in Lombardy, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday 18 people have died. In the last 24 hours, 79,372 swabs were processed, of which 7.5% were positive. The number of hospitalized patients is decreasing: there are 162 patients in intensive care, 4 less than yesterday; in the ordinary wards 1,756, 116 less than 24 hours ago. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 38,127 deaths in the Region. Today there are 1,885 new Covid cases in the metropolitan area of Milan, of which 796 in the capital city. Followed by the province of Brescia with 714 infections, that of Monza and Brianza with 549, Bergamo with +525 and Varese with +489.
