The State Police of Taranto, as part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Taranto and conducted by the policemen of the mobile team, carried out a precautionary custody order against 9 subjects (of which 6 in prison and 3 under house arrest) presumed responsible for various reasons of various crimes related to the illicit possession, introduction and sale of drugs, the illegal possession and carrying of common firearms, the illicit introduction of telephones and SIM cards, corruption and receiving stolen goods inside the Taranto prison. Involved 4 offenders at liberty, three prisoners, one prisoner admitted to an alternative measure and a prison police officer.
