It is premature to draw any conclusions. Purposeful submission of any version to the general public makes the investigation difficult, “said the police presidium.

At the same time, the police categorically rejected allegations in an article in the weekly Plus 7 dny that tied hands were considered by investigators to be a terrifying link and a potential warning to others. “The investigators working on this case never commented in that context,” they said.

According to media information, Buček’s body was found on January 25 in the quarry of the Slovak Water Management Company in Bratislava near Devín. His death is being investigated by the National Criminal Agency.
