Sanremo 2022, Truppi and the tank top: “I’ve always sung dressed like this”

“I’ve always sung in a tank top, ever since I was a boy”. Giovanni Truppi, before the performance on the final evening of the Sanremo 2022 Festival, thus replies to Amadeus to explain the ‘minimalist’ choice in terms of look. To keep faith with his habits, the singer did not change his style and from the first appearance on the Ariston stage he wore a tank top. “I had them made by an artisan”, explains Truppi, willing to pay homage to Amadeus with one of the garments.
